Description of SunGuard monitoring system

The SunGuard system is composed, primarily, by two fundamental components, a hardware part and a software part. The hardware one is installed at the customer site, near the photovoltaic system to be monitored.

Through the various communication interfaces, the SunGuard Box connects to the various drives, collecting data and making them available, via internet, to the application of monitoring.

SunGuard Box can also be connected to multiple analog sensors through the appropriate SunGuard Sensor Box, Field Box, Counters, acquisition modules and digital network analyzers (see list of compatible devices)

The software part of SunGuard is composed by a centralized server application that manages the communication with the various SunGuard Box installed on the territory.
The application is responsible for managing this data, analyze and make actions in error case.

The SunGuard application was designed to make the most flexible and simplest management and analysis of data available from SunGuard Box installed.

The centralized software allows the use of multi-user mode, providing the functionality of multi-system. In this way a single operator will be able to handle, from a common interface, most systems composed by different types of drives and sensors.
